The biggest pro for a roof cargo bag is that the price is a bit lower due to the fact you only need to buy the bag. You can absolutely use a rooftop cargo bag with the Curt hitch mounted cargo carrier # C18152. You will want to take extra steps to secure the bag such as ratchet straps or bungee cords.
